Global South Membership
For the purposes of IISRA membership, the Global South is defined as all countries and territories of the world except Australia, Belarus, Canada, China, the European Union, the Gulf Cooperation Council, Iceland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, the Russian Federation, Serbia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Individuals permanently based in these countries who are not studying for a PhD should apply for a Standard Membership.
